Cooling water flow rate depends on the temperature drop across the mold and the heat load. A typical flow rate for medium-sized injection molding machines ranges from 50 to 200 L/min.
Air-cooled chillers are ideal for small to medium operations with controlled ambient temperature. They require no cooling tower and are easier to install.
Water-cooled chillers offer higher efficiency and are better suited for large-scale production facilities with consistent cooling demands.
